Former Danish central bank governor nominated as new Alecta chair

Alecta’s coming chairman says that the Swedish pension giant is “recovering from a serious crisis” and agrees that the controversial investment in Heimstaden Bostad should not have happened.

The former governor of Denmark’s central bank, Lars Rohde, has been nominated as the new chairman of the board of Sweden’s largest commercial pension firm, Alecta.
