Skandia’s Q1 return aided by unlisted assets and a weaker krona

Despite a relatively low share of listed equities, Skandia’s CEO is satisfied with the Q1 return. While a weak krona has contributed positively, he says a continued weakening is a problem for Sweden.

Swedish pension and insurance firm Skandia continued its “stable development” from 2023 during the first quarter of this year, recording solid growth for its assets under management and delivering a 3.0% return on its traditional life portfolio, Skandia Liv.
