State fund fires 50 people as activity level drops

Financial activity and the number of investment cases in small and medium-sized enterprises is currently at its lowest level since 2020, according to the Danish state fund Eifo.

Eifo, Denmark’s Export and Investment Fund, is laying off around 50 employees across the business. The announcement comes after a “structurally lower level of activity, especially in the SME area,” according to the explanation given.
