Nuveen strengthens team to diversify book of business in the Nordics

The asset manager has poached profiles from BlackRock and Nykredit to accelerate growth across several business segments. Head of Nordics and Benelux Christoffer Hedberg believes his new team is set up for something big.

Almost three years have passed since Nuveen opened an office in Copenhagen.

The asset manager established the branch to utilize its alternatives offering during a period in which Nordic life and pension companies were increasing investments into unlisted assets in search of returns streams.
