Impact investor prepares credit venture with top-performing fund manger at the helm

Oslo-based Norselab has hired two credit specialists from Alfred Berg and DNB Markets to design the blueprint for a series of credit funds. The first vehicle will focus on high yield and direct lending.

Earlier this year, Oslo-based Norselab announced it was hiring credit specialists Tom Hestnes from Alfred Berg and Ole Einar Stokstad from DNB Markets.

Hestnes took on the role as Managing Director of Norselab’s credit fund arm on the 1st of August and Stokstad is set to join him later this month. Their objective is to create a credit fund management arm at Norselab, which describes itself as an impact investment platform.
