DNB sees elevated retail inflow continue, but downward trend in margins persists

In Q1, Norway’s second-largest asset manager continued to attract retail inflows and gained two sizeable institutional mandates whilst pressure on commission margins remained high.

The asset management arm of Norway’s largest banking group, DNB, is currently experiencing an elevated investment appetite from retail savers. According to the company’s head of wealth management, Håkon Hansen, this trend is set to continue for a long time.
