Career path: Niclas Faurby, 28, is a new partner at Aros Capital Partners, where he is now regional manager. He has a professional background from Nordea and Sydbank, among others.

Aros Capital Partners is an independent company within consulting and securities portfolios. The company was established in February 2009 by four partners: Nicolai Borcher Hansen, Peter Brink Madsen, Jakob Madsen, and Christian Falster. Henrik Lind joined the group of partners in June 2009, followed by Bruno Pedersen and Kim Jensen in 2011. However, as the company's website states, in 2015 the four founders bought out all external partners' ownership stakes via a management buyout.

What career path did you envision for yourself when you were younger?

"I started trading different items when I was 10-12 years old – I always had an interest in doing business and multiplying money. Among other things, I collected used golf balls in the local golf club and resold them to players in the club. When I was confirmed at 13, my granddad presented me with the opportunity to invest all my gifted confirmation money until I was at least 18 years old, then he would cover any potential losses and guarantee returns of 5 percent a year. After that I took a keen interest in financial markets, and I began studying the markets. Since then I've wanted to make a living from my passion – investing and managing assets."

When did you decide on the career path that you're on today?

"That question is more or less answered in the previous question, so since around age 13."

What part of your education has been most useful in your career?

"My bank clerk training in Nordea, where I gained deep insight into the financial sector."

What part of your CV represents the most drastic change in your career path?

"From Sydbank to Aros Capital Partners."

Which leader in the industry has been most inspiring to you career-wise?

"Henrik Lind of Danske Commodities made my career in Aros Capital Partners possible."

"A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity"
