More asset managers turn to sustainability benchmarks

The ESG train is picking up speed on the financial markets. In line with investors' growing allocations of capital to ESG and businesses becoming more sustainable, benchmark indexes at asset managers will also be changed significantly.

Asset managers around the world are pulling their portfolios in a more sustainable direction. They therefore want to measure their performance against benchmark indexes which take a number of factors within ESG (environmental, social and governance) into account, according to Bloomberg.
