Pensam overhauls equity portfolio to meet new climate benchmark

Pensam will now measure its equity investments against a new climate index. This will reduce the portfolio's carbon footprint, but will also reduce the portfolio's risk, explains CEO Torsten Fels.

In order to support green and sustainable development, Pensam has chosen to change to a new benchmark for its equity investments. This will mean a restructuring of the pension fund's EUR 4.7 billion (DKK 35 billion) portfolio over the spring.
