Dane co-runs French asset manager's new green long/short bet

BNP Paribas AM has launched an environmental long/short equity fund called EARTH. The new fund enables investors to benefit from positive change in both high and low carbon-intensive sectors, according to co-fund manager Ulrik Fugmann.

French asset manager BNP Paribas Asset Management has launched a long/short equity strategy. The strategy seeks to identify opportunities among those companies that are facing or addressing environmental challenges because of increased demand for food, water and clean energy, the EUR 408bn asset manager announces in a press statement.
