British pension fund picks Storebrand for major climate mandate

East Sussex Pension Fund has invested GBP 400m (EUR 440m) in one of Storebrand's fossil-free index strategies. UK-based pension schemes show strong interest in green investment strategies, according to Tim Heffer, managing director in the UK for the  Storebrand subsidiary Skagen Funds.

Storebrand Asset Management has been awarded its first major UK pension fund mandate following a GBP 400m investment by the East Sussex Pension Fund (ESPF).
