Aktia buys wealth management business from Taaleri

Aktia's asset management product offering will be expanded considerably, according to its CEO. Taaleri wants to put full focus on private equity funds and other alternative investments, and Aktia will be selling Taaleri's alternative investments to its customers as part of the deal.

Finnish company Taaleri today announces the sale of its wealth management operations to Aktia Bank. The operation is sold at its enterprise value of EUR 120m and Taaleri will also get the net cash of the divested business, which amounts to EUR 10m, according to a company statement.
