Who will do the next deal in Finnish AM? It could be cross-border, analysts say

Further mergers and acquisitions are very likely to take place in Finland, where banks still play a significant role in fund management industry, but where there are also many smaller players. Also a cross-border Nordic deal can be on the cards. Inderes' Equity Analyst Matias Arola and Head Of Research at OP Corporate Bank Antti Saari evaluate which companies may be doing a deal next.

After the most recent acquisition in the Finnish asset management market, when Aktia acquired the wealth management operations of Taaleri for EUR120m last week, Antti Saari, head of research at OP Corporate Bank and Matias Arola, equity analyst at Inderes, expect further deals to take place.
