BNP Paribas has appointed Nalini Bonnier as Head for Nordic Family Offices and Entrepreneurs where she will work closely with the financial giant's wealth management division, according to a statement forwarded to AMWatch.

She will be based in Stockholm. Bonnier joins from Deutsche Bank's wealth management unit where she spend nearly seven years focusing on wealthy families. 

Bonnier has experience as CIO at Catella Förmögenhetsförvaltning and also has a background as a hedge fund manager at Manticore Capital, which is part of the largest Nordic hedge fund group Brummer & Partners, and Wiborg Kapitalförvaltning, as well as working as a fund manager at the Sweden's Third National Pensions Fund (AP3) and SEB Investment Management.

BNP Paribas is the largest global bank across the Nordic countries ­ and has appetite for more, according to its regional CEO Eirik Winter.

The key appointment of Nalini Bonnier will further strengthen our local platform as the leading Global European bank for our Nordic clients," he says in a statement.

In March, BNP Paribas' asset management also hired Kristina Ilar as a client relationship manager in its Stockholm office
