Iceland usurps Denmark in global pension rankings

Nordic countries make up five of the top eight pension systems, according to Mercer's annual ranking of global pension systems.

Iceland tops the Mercer CFA Instutite Global Pension Index for 2021, the first year it has been included in the ranking. The Netherlands comes in second, while Denmark takes third place. Finland, Norway and Sweden are also in the top ten.
