Aktia outperforms on emerging markets, defying investors who jumped ship

Some of Aktia’s international investors started to rebalance away from emerging market products as a consequence of Russia’s newest attack on Ukraine, says CEO Mikko Ayub. The Finnish manager has several new products under development.

Customer assets under management at Finland’s Aktia Asset Management dropped by around EUR1bn over the first quarter of the year and totaled EUR 14.4bn, almost entirely due to market developments, says CEO Mikko Ayub.
