AP7 to get new investment mandate in 2023

A new government law proposal has been sent to Sweden’s Council on Legislation for review. It includes updated investment rules and a stricter ESG goal.

Sweden’s government has sent a fresh draft bill for a review to the Council on Legislation regarding AP7 and its future investment mandate. The Council is the entity which scrutinizes that all government proposals are legally accurate before they can be sent for a parliamentary review.
