Lobby sounds alarm on capital flight risk in transatlantic green subsidy rivalry

The nation’s institutional investors say they will have to reroute investments to the US if Denmark and Europe fail to alter the direction of green agenda, says trade association F&P.

The US’ Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is making pension companies investing in climate technologies such as Power-to-X (PtX) increasingly tempted to move to markets on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean – and making it less attractive to place capital in European assets, says interest group Insurance & Pension Denmark (F&P) in a statement.
