EQT chief: The Oil Fund can be a driving force for change in private equity

If allowed to make private equity investments, the Norwegian Oil Fund could help push the industry in a more sustainable direction, says the CEO of EQT Christian Sinding.

The Norwegian Oil Fund will miss out on returns and the chance to be a driving force for positive change if the fund is denied its request to enter private equity investments, the CEO of EQT Christian Sinding tells Norwegian business daily Dagens Næringsliv in an interview.
