Nordea storms ahead in a rapidly growing Danish retail fund market

Retail investors are flocking to Denmark's largest fund managers, not all of which enjoy equally forceful tailwinds.

The Danish retail fund market is storming forward. Solely in this year's first seven months, private investors put DKK 46.7bn (EUR 6.28bn) into Danish mutual funds, with this year's net inflow already surpassing the DKK 40bn that flowed into domestic fund managers in 2019. Further, this year's inflow is already on track to beat last year's record of DKK 74.3bn.
