Q4 upturn failed to prevent massive 2022 drop in Swedish pension assets

Investment assets of Sweden’s insurance and pension companies decreased by 10% in 2022, figures released by Insurance Sweden (Svensk Försäkring) show.

The combined investment assets of Sweden’s insurance and pension companies increased in the final quarter of 2022 – but for the year as a whole they dropped by 10%, new figures from the industry association Insurance Sweden show.
