Folksam calls for more investor control of troubled real estate giant

Swedish pension company Folksam does not rule out increasing its investment in Heimstaden Bostad, but calls for a “simpler” shareholder agreement with the real estate giant.

Folksam maintains that its investment in the troubled real estate company, Heimstaden Bostad, will deliver good long-term returns. But the Swedish pension company would prefer a higher degree of control of its investment – even as a minority investor with an 18% share.
