AP7 to bring more asset management inhouse and add staff, CEO says

An increased focus on alternative investments will lead to more inhouse asset management for Sweden’s AP7 fund, which is also working on its long-term strategy for the coming two decades.

The giant default fund in Sweden’s public pension system, AP7, is about to hire more staff in order to manage alternative assets inhouse, its CEO, Pål Bergström, tells news site Pensioner & Förmåner in an interview.
