AMWatch in the summer of 2024

The AMWatch news flow will adjust to the summer pace, but we will continue to provide you with relevant stories, in-depth interviews, and our summer series with international asset managers.

As we have now entered the summer vacation period in the Nordics, the flow of news has a natural way of slowing down.

AMWatch will continue to provide you with articles all summer, although on some days these will be a bit fewer in numbers. Every weekday, we will publish at least one of our in-depth interviews, articles from our summer series, or insights from AMWatch analyst Flemming Højbo.

We will also cover the Q2 results from 15 of the largest Nordic asset managers with interviews when the reporting season kicks off next week already. As usual, we will round up our quarterly coverage with one or more AMWatch Comparison articles, where we compare net flows and AUM developments and provide you with trends, insights, challenges and successes in the Nordic asset management industry.

For our summer series with international asset managers, we hand over the microphone to the heads of Nordics at some of the many international asset managers with a regional presence. The Summer Series will be easy to spot, as we will add a logo in AMWatch’s signature red color to the article’s photo.

We have already published the first two articles in this series. If you missed them, here they are:

US manager sees Nordic clients return to EM equities due to ”excessive concentration”

Expansion of Nordic team has paid off: Inflows to all core products for US manager

This summer, we will also run articles featuring interviews with Nordic asset managers that are not part of our quarterly coverage. We have already published the first ones, where we interviewed Alfred Berg. In case you missed them, you can find them here:

Alfred Berg far from ”dead and buried” in Sweden

Alfred Berg on growth trend: ”We are pinching ourselves”

We are also planning interviews with investment professionals from some of the many pension funds in the Nordic countries.

We will share our main stories and the summer series on LinkedIn, so make sure to follow AMWatch on LinkedIn.

Another option is to download the AMWatch app to your smartphone. That way, you can read all our articles and even search for old ones while away from your computer.

The AMWatch team wishes all of our readers a wonderful summer.
