Denmark's ATP hires new media relations advisor

Danish pension fund ATP has hired Maria Lindeberg (pictured) as new senior media and communications advisor. 34-year-old Lindeberg was most recently senior media relations manager for Danish medical care company Coloplast, and was previously media relations manager at Nordea Denmark. She is a trained journalist and has previously worked at several Danish media companies.

Swedbank hires new head of group sustainability

Sweden's Swedbank has hired Fredrik Nilzén as new head of group sustainability, responsible for developing, monitoring and reporting on Swedbank's sustainability strategies and goals, reporting directly to CEO Birgitte Bonnesen. Nilzén will join the bank at the end of May, and comes from a position as Nordic CSR Lead at Accenture in Sweden, where he has worked since 2004.

Swedish state venture capital firm hires new head of talent

Almi Invest, a venture capital investor owned by the Swedish government, has hired Petra Weslien in a new position as head of talent. She will join Almi Invest on May 15. Weslien comes from a position as head of HR at payment solutions provider Izettle. She has a law degree and prior to joining Izettle in 2015, she worked as a recruiter, as owner of a travel agency, and as a civil servant in the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

New CEO for Swedish insurer Trygg-Hansa

The Swedish insurer Trygg-Hansa, which through Denmark's Codan Forsikring is owned by the British insurance group RSA, has hired a new CEO. The insurer lost Johan Agerman as CEO in July 2016, and named the Nordic head of Trygg-Hansa and Codan, Patrick Bergander, as temporary CEO. The new head is Niclas Ward, who has worked in the insurance industry for the past 15 years, most recently as head of industrial insurance at Sampo-owned If insurance.
