AP3 backs new EUR 300m impact fund

European private equity company Verdane is launching what it claims to be Europe's largest growth impact fund, and has also secured capital from Norway's state climate investment fund.

Private equity firm Verdane is launching a EUR 300m investment vehicle called Idun, a so-called impact fund focused on investing in technology-enabled companies that contribute to UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The fund is classified as Article 9 under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and has closed over its target size of EUR 225m, according to Verdane.
