Norwegian banking group launches first index fund

The fund has been launched under the banners of SpareBank 1 Forvaltning.

SpareBank 1 Forvaltning, the SpareBank alliance’s joint savings association, has launched its first index fund – and the first-ever fund under the SpareBank 1 name.

”It feels fantastic to be able to offer our clients a global index fund that follows our guidelines for responsible management under the SpareBank 1 name. The fund is one of the many SpareBank 1 funds which will be launched to make savings easier,” says Jon Erik Høyem, head of distribution and investment advisory services at SpareBank 1 Forvaltning, in a press release.
