Newsec expects over 25 percent more property sales this year

The interest in investment properties is skyrocketing thanks to continued low interest rates and global uncertainty about other asset classes. Real estate broker Newsec expects the transaction drop in 2019 in Denmark to be followed by a significant increase this year. Many other brokerage firms agree.

Deals on investment properties totaled EUR 7.4 billion (DKK 55 billion) in 2019 in Denmark, and this year, real estate broker Newsec expects this to increase to around EUR 9.4 billion (DKK 70 billion) - an increase of 27 percent.
