Swedish investors lead push against Tesla on workers’ rights

Sweden’s Folksam is one of the shareholders behind a proposal at Tesla’s AGM urging the EV giant not to interfere with workers’ rights. Several Nordic investors support unions after months of strikes.

The recent months of union actions targeting Tesla across the Nordics have led some of the region’s biggest pension funds and asset managers to back a renewed call for the EV maker to respect workers’ rights to unionize and seek collective bargaining.
