Verdane sacks imprisoned employee accused of insider trading

Norwegian private equity firm Verdane has investigated the communication between its two imprisoned employees and found evidence of gross violations of stock trading rules, its top executive says.

A senior Verdane employee has been identified as the ringleader of a network of 13 Norwegians charged with insider trading, with more than NOK 10m (EUR 878,521) in total profits.
